    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic business in Castle Donnington. The successful candidate will be working in a small vibrant team and will need to be able to use their initiative and have a positive “can do” attitude.

     

    Duties will include:

     

    • Credit control
    • Sales ledger, including raising invoices
    • Purchase ledger – receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and related payments
    • Supplier and customer reconciliations
    • Bank reconciliations, postings, and balancing accounts
    • Maintaining spreadsheets in Excel
    • Managing petty cash reconciliations
    • Journal processing
    • Management accounts preparation
    • Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Additional duties of administration will include hiring of office supplies, answering of calls, booking hotels, etc.

     

    This is an office-based role, but they are flexible when needed for working from home days, standard hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour break, Monday to Friday, although this can be flexible.
