• Temporary Purchase Ledger Team Leader

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 Position: Temporary

    A rare opportunity has arisen to join this forward thinking and expanding company based in Alfreton for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader for a 12 month contract.

    Reporting into the Manager, your main responsibilities as Purchase Ledger Team Leader will include:

     

    • Be an escalation point for any queries that arise internally and externally
    • Communicating with relevant Suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries and ensuring the action is taken to resolve any root cause issues
    • Review and setting of targets for the team and workload allocation
    • Dealing with internal and external queries by phone and email, escalating issues as required
    • Arranging and leading on any required Supplier calls
    • Ensuring that the Supplier payment runs are processed and with approvals in accordance with the scheme of delegation
    • Review of Supplier statement reconciliations and ensuring that any required actions are followed up in a timely manner
    • Production of reporting that is required for internal and external needs and ensuring that this delivered accurately and timely
    • Ensuring the reporting is relevant, fit for purpose and look to automate the production and delivery

     

    The client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Team leader with proven managerial and supervision skills, who can work in a very fast paced and busy environment . The role offers Hybrid working, some flexibility on start and finish times, a really positive and fun team to work in. Salary between £29,000 – £35,000.
