• Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 Position: Temporary

    A manufacturing company based in Alfreton are looking to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to cover the holiday period. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, expenses and credit card payments.

     

    Applicants will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in Purchase Ledger and ideally experience of 3-way matching and processing high volumes of invoices weekly.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Matching and coding invoices
    • 3-way matching (invoice, PO, GRNI)
    • Supplier statement reconciliation
    • Processing expenses and credit cards
    • Allocating payments
    • Process payment runs via BACS, CHAPS and Foreign currency
    • Petty cash
    • Queries
    • Scanning and filing invoices

     

    Hours of work are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am – 4.30pm on Friday. If you are immediately available or on a short notice period, then please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
