• Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Administrator

    Location: Leicestershire Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 Position: Temporary

    An opportunity for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk and a Purchase Ledger Administrator has become available with our client based in Coalville to work within a  busy Purchase Ledger department, reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager.

     

    Initially a 3-month contract initially with a high likelihood to be extended to 6 months plus.  Immediate start.

     

    As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you should be organised and methodical and used to working in a high volume and fast paced environment.

     

    The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be:

     

    • Setting up new suppliers on the system
    • Scanning invoices
    • Matching GRN (Goods received notes) to invoices
    • Coding and inputting a high number of purchase ledger invoices
    • Dealing with queries
    • Supplier statement reconciliations

     

    Applicants must have recent UK purchase ledger  experience. In return the offices are open plan and modern, free onsite parking, friendly and supportive team. Salary is £22,000 – £24,000  hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch, the role is hybrid once trained 1 or 2  days in the office, 3 or 4 days from home  however if you would prefer to work in the office more days or all 5 days that is fine.
