• Temporary Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Staffordshire Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Position: Temporary

    Our client a manufacturing company based in Burton, is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary ongoing basis to cover maternity leave.

    Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the Matching and Coding of invoices, etc.

     

    Applicants must have previous experience of working in Accounts.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Matching and coding invoices against PO’s
    • Reconcile supplier statements
    • Dealing with supplier queries
    • Prepare and process monthly payment runs
    • Sending out remittance advice to suppliers
    • Assisting with Sales ledger, raising of invoices
    • Allocating payments to customer accounts
    • Liaising with the Finance Manager regarding outstanding or delayed credits
    • Maintaining filing systems

     

    This role is offering a salary between £20,000 – £25,000 FTE depending on experience.
