• Sales Ledger / Finance Administrator

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £23,000 Position: Permanent

    A well-established company based in Derby are looking for a Sales Ledger / Finance Administrator to join their expanding team.

     

    Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

     

    • Ensuring all documents are scanned and posted on a daily basis
    • Banking cash and cheques as and when required
    • Notifying the Credit Control team of any unallocated receipts, queries, received with remittance advices, claims or statements
    • Manual Credit card charges
    • Month End Reconciliations
    • Processing direct debits, as and when required
    • Providing administrative assistance including query management, as and when required

     

    You will be able to demonstrate experience of being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as have excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must

     

    The company are looking for applicants either with an excellent background in administration or some previous finance experience. Personality and a can-do attitude is the most important thing hence the company will offer training and support for this position.

     

    In return you will be offered a salary of £23,000 and benefit from 23 days holiday going up to 27 with service.

     

    Working hours are hybrid, Monday and Friday working from home, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office. Office hours are 9:00am -5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch but home working hours can be more flexible if you would like to start earlier and finish earlier.
