• Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Controller

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £17,000 - £20,000 Position: Permanent

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Controller to join a growing manufacturing business based in Derby. This is an exciting new role that has been created due to the expansion of the business and it is a great opportunity for someone to be a part of the collections team.

    Working in a supportive and friendly environment reporting into the manager, this role will give someone the opportunity to really support a growing business.

    Your duties as a Sales Ledger / Credit Controller will include:

    • Daily chasing of aged debt
    • Processing and evaluating new accounts
    • Liaising with other departments regarding the despatch of held orders and proforma accounts
    • Responding in a timely manner to relevant client and sales enquiries
    • Processing and allocating card payments
    • Checking and posting of receipts to SAP
    • Providing administrative support to the team

    Applicants must have previous experience of interacting and working with customers to ensure their needs are met and that their credit fits in with the current risk portfolio. Experience of using SAP is preferred and Excel at an intermediate level is desirable, along with good attention to detail and good communication skills.
