Purchase Ledger Manager

Astute Recruitment are partnering with a brilliant company based in Derby, to help bring in an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager.

Reporting to the Financial Director role is ideal for someone with previous experience in managing a team and someone who has a passion for accounts.

Duties:

• Supervising a Purchase Ledger team
• Assuring targets are met and company policies are adhered to
• Stepping in to help with more complex accounts when needed
• Training and developing team members
• Improving and evolving current processes and procedures with the accounts team
• Attending meetings with other members of senior management
• Further ad hoc duties as and when required by the Financial Director

Qualities and Experience:

• Previous experience with managing a team
• Fantastic Communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to motivate a team
• Proactive attitude
• Confidence when talking to team members and delivering information

Benefits:

• Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
• 37.5 hour working week
• Flexible start and finish times with office open from 8am until 6pm
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
