• Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Allrounder

    Location: Leicestershire Salary: £25,000 Position: Permanent

    Astute Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Allrounder to work for rapidly growing company in Castle Donnington. You will be efficient, accurate and methodical in your work, with a personable manager as you will be dealing with a wide range of suppliers and contractors, you will be supportive to your colleagues across the Group.

     

    As a Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Allrounder you will be required to:

     

    80% focused on purchase ledger / reconciliation work and 20% on the sales ledger / credit control side

    Managing each of the Purchase Ledgers for the many companies within the Group, ensuring that records are accurately maintained, and information entered onto any system operated, or produced is of a timely nature.

    Ensuring that the bank reconciliations are maintained daily, and that petty cash and expenses of whatever nature are reviewed in a timely manner, recorded, and paid.

    Manage any purchase order processing system and undertaking regular reviews of these and each company purchase ledge and chasing up outstanding items

    Manage all payments for goods and services purchased in a timely and pro-active manner

    Supportive of staff at all levels within the group to ensure that the Finance department is seen to be pro-active in dealing with their requests regarding suppliers, contracts, petty cash, and employee expenses.

    Assisting with each of the Sales Ledger for the many companies within the Group, ensuring that records are accurately maintained, and information entered onto any system operated, or produced is of a timely nature.

    Supportive of the various Managers to ensure that credit control processes are reflective of operating a company and respectful of the ultimate customer relationships

    Assist the Finance Controller and Finance Director in any ad-hoc tasks required from the finance function to meet the needs of the business.

     

    The role of Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Allrounder, is varied and office based, you will be required to work 37.5 hours, but these will be flexible. In return you will benefit from a salary of 25,000, 25 days holiday and parking.
