• Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 Position: Permanent

    An Alfreton based business are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Accounts payable Team Leader, your duties as Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

     

    • Checking the query log daily
    • Chasing up any new / outstanding queries
    • Liaising with internal and external suppliers
    • Assisting in the preparation of payments runs
    • Sending out Statement Reconciliations to clients weekly
    • Sending a weekly report to management regarding ongoing issues
    • Ensuring the database is kept up to date
    • Setting up new suppliers on the system

     

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Purchase Ledger position, previous experience of SAP and intermediate Excel skills; including VLookups and Pivots are desirable, but not essential.

     

    In return the company are offering a salary of up to £20,000, hours of work will be 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break, 25 days holiday plus statutory, free parking and other benefits.
