• Purchase Ledger Clerk – Temporary to Permanent

    Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 Position: Temporary

    Our client, a Manufacturing company based in Sutton in Ashfield, is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary to permanent basis. Working as part of a team of 6 you will be solely responsible for Matching and Coding of invoices; Supplier queries and payment runs.

     

    Applicants must have previous experience of working in Purchase Ledger ideally in a stand-alone position where you have been responsible for the whole purchase ledger process including payment runs.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Matching and coding of invoices against PO’s
    • Reconcile supplier statements
    • Dealing with supplier queries
    • Prepare and process monthly payment runs
    • Sending out remittance advice to suppliers
    • Liaising with the Finance Manager of outstanding or delayed credits
    • Maintaining filing systems
    • Attend departmental meetings

     

    On a temporary to permanent basis, this role is offering a salary between £18,000 – £22,000 depending on experience, 20 days holiday + stats and 35 hours a week.
