• Purchase Ledger Clerk – Temporary

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 Position: Temporary

    A Manufacturing company based in Derby is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary ongoing basis. Applicants will need to have previous experience of working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, ideally dealing with high volumes of invoices and queries. Experience of using Oracle would be an advantage but is not essential.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Creating reports on invoices and purchase orders that are still outstanding
    • Matching and coding invoices
    • Resolving queries in a timely manner
    • Statement reconciliations
    • Submission of monthly accruals to ensure costs are captured in the correct month
    • Ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with terms and queries are resolved promptly
