• Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 Position: Permanent

    A well-established company based in Castle Donington are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a range of general Group Purchase Ledger and Finance Department duties, including:

     

    • Invoice posting and matching to POs
    • Processing and controlling payment runs
    • Supplier statement reconciliations
    • Handling Purchase Ledger queries
    • Ensuring effective controls are in place e.g. new supplier set ups and authorisation of invoices
    • Other tasks as requested by the Finance Manager and Accounting Timetable
    • Working across other Finance function as and when required eg: credit control

     

    AAT qualified or relevant Purchase Ledger and General accounting experience.

    Experience of using accounting systems and good excel skills. Data manipulation and management. Used to dealing with and achieving tight deadlines.

     

    Salary up to 20k depending on experience

    8.30am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

    37.5 hours a week

    25 days holiday
