• Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 Position: Permanent

    A Manufacturing company based in Derby is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. Based in the centre of Derby and working in a friendly and supportive team. Applicants will need to have previous experience of working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, ideally dealing with high volumes of invoices and queries and strong excel skills.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Create reports on invoices and purchase orders that are still outstanding
    • Matching and coding of invoices
    • Resolving queries in a timely manner
    • Statement reconciliations
    • Submission of monthly accruals to ensure costs are captured in the correct month
    • Ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with terms and queries are resolved promptly
