• Purchase Ledger Clerk

    Location: Staffordshire Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 Position: Permanent

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this growing business based in Burton Upon Trent as a permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk.

     

    Reporting into the Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger including:

     

    • Matching invoices to GRN’s and PO’s
    • High volume invoice processing
    • Checking all invoices are authorised and checking pricings
    • Dealing with supplier queries
    • Supplier statement reconciliations
    • Setting up new suppliers onto the system
    • Processing credit notes
    • Assuring all suppliers are paid within their agreed payment terms
    • Helping with month end and year end close

     

    The client is looking for someone with previous purchase ledger experience, and ability to work in a very fast paced and ever-changing environment with a calm and organised approach.

     

    In return they offer hybrid working, 2 days in the office 3 days at home, 25 days holiday, free parking, some flexibility on start and finish times and a salary of £23,000 – £26,000 depending on experience.

     

    They are happy to look at both well-established purchase ledger controllers as well as up and coming people and happy to train, although some previous purchase ledger is essential.
