• Payroll Officer

    Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 Position: Permanent

    An established company based in Nottingham city centre, are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer on a permanent full-time basis. Within the role you will take full responsibility of the end-to-end payroll process for the business.

    The main job responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the payroll of employees
    • Arrange the BACS payments of employees
    • Submit all relevant information as per regulations to HMRC
    • Assist staff regarding HMRC issues and payroll queries
    • Dealing with staff deductions, including SSP, SMP, attachments of earnings
    • Inputting details of all new starters

    Experience of payroll from start to finish is essential to this role. Our client has recently introduced a new payroll system, so experience using Sage Line 50 and/or Sage Payroll, as well as strong Excel skills would be preferred.

    This role is varied, fast-paced and rewarding. The candidate would also be given the opportunity to learn other aspects of accounts.

    In return, the company are offering a salary of £21,000 to £24,000, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team and a successful business which offers a range of employee benefits.
