Part Time Credit Control Assistant

Astute Recruitment are working alongside a brilliant forward-thinking business based in Alfreton to help recruit for a part time Credit Control Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is wanting to work in a terrific Credit Control team.

Duties:

• Record and accurately allocate cash receipts in accordance with customer remittances,
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the credit control function
• Ensuring the sales invoice process is accurate and prepared timely
• Preparation of statements and allocation of cash receipts for all debtors
• Act as primary contact for all customer debtor queries ensuring a high level of customer service and timely receipt of cash
• Report directly to the Credit Controller – International Accounts on a routine basis to identify credit control issues and to minimise bad debt exposure
• Further ad hoc duties when required

Qualities and experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced credit control team
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability depending on what the role requires
• Proactive attitude to chase debt
• Great communication skills both written and verbal

Benefits:

• Salary up to £27,000 full time equivalent depending on experience
• 20-25 hours per week (Hours to be worked in the afternoon due to international duties)
• Hybrid working with 2 days from home
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
