    Financial Controller

    As part of the site Senior Management Team, you will be tasked with leading the Business Financial Controlling and Management Reporting activities. Delivering accurate and timely financial information and establishing and maintaining a robust control environment and a culture of continuous improvement; coordinating the financial business planning, control, and budgeting processes.

     

    Location: Burton

     

    Your role:

     

    • Manage a team of finance professionals ensuring roles are fully documented and objectives defined.
    • Coordinate the Shared Service Team.
    • Develop systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Operating Units financial performance.
    • Responsible for delivering and presenting the monthly management accounts to the senior management team.
    • Identifying and driving action plans to improve the financial performance and to mitigate any risks identified.
    • Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasts of the business.
    • Work with departmental managers to prepare cost centre budgets, forecasts, and review actual performance to drive action plans to achieve targets.
    • Coordinate the financial strategic planning process for the Business.
    • Monitor and drive improvements in cash and working capital of the business.
    • Support the commercial business decision making process.

     

     

    Your background:

     

    • Experience in a similar role is essential, possessing a proven history of financial reporting, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience will include presenting key financial data.
    • Possess excellent communication skills and be performance orientated; able to lead, motivate, and influence.
    • Able to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
    • Be Business/Customer orientated
    • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft office applications and MRP
    • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
    • Possessing a positive, can-do attitude, you will be disciplined, with excellent attention to detail.
