Financial Analyst

Working as a Financial Analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress their career. You will join a strong finance team in supporting the organisations strategic growth plans.

This is a key analysis role focusing on large key accounts which requires an eye for detail, good IT skills, and the confidence to build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams across the organisation to improve commerciality and financial understanding.

Your role:

• Undertake financial analysis on current and prospective large, and high value customers
• Supporting Sales and Credit teams in the credit application and assessment process
• Undertake accurate and timely financial analysis on all major customers to support varied departments within the organisation
• Undertake meaningful and timely financial analysis on prospect customers, to help focus Sales strategy
• Take an active role in the development of on-going automation of financial analysis
• Develop data sets to show benchmark performance for different customer segments, to improve quality of analysis

Your background:

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who are partly or newly qualified with a recognised accountancy qualification and have circa 3 years’ experience in a similar analytical role

• You will be able to build and maintain effective relationships whilst working collaboratively with others
• Possess excellent numerical and communication skills required for analysing and presenting financial data
• Possess strong self-management and organisational skills
