Financial Analyst

Working as a Financial Analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress their career. You will join a key business partnering team in supporting the efficient management of a busy organisation and to aid their ongoing strategic growth plans.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a key analysis and business partnering role which requires an eye for detail, good IT skills, and the confidence to build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams across the organisation to improve commerciality and financial understanding.

Your role:

• Assist in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including Board Reporting
• Assist in any FRS developments that impact fixed assets or leases, ensuring impact analysis is completed and changes implemented
• Provide analysis and input into the financial forecasts and budgets, including balance sheet and cashflow forecasts
• Ensure the fixed asset and lease accounting and controls are adhered to
• Assisting in input of FAR and Lease data into the statutory accounts for GPL and GPFS
• Liaise with external auditors to support Group responsibilities
• Input into FAR and Lease register and associated balance sheet postings and reconciliations

Your background:

• This position will most suit someone either part qualified or about to start their ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification and is looking to progress their career
• You will be able to build and maintain effective relationships whilst working collaboratively with others
• Possess excellent numerical, communication, presentation, and interpretation skills required for analysing and presenting financial data to a range of audiences including non-finance
• Possess strong self-management and organisational skills
• Possess the ability to challenge, analyse, and question information

Your rewards:

• Salary range £32,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
