Financial Accountant

The Opportunity:

Financial Accountant

This is a newly created role due to business growth and internal promotion within the finance team.

The Financial Accountant role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and will give the right candidate the opportunity to progress with the business. This is a very fast paced business and will require a highly motivated and career focussed individual. This role will suit an individual with a strong technical background gained from either practice or industry who wishes to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and preparation of year end statutory audits working closely with external auditors and tax authorities
• Production of statutory accounts and group corporation tax
• Preparation of management accounts including P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet variance
• Management and development of team providing mentoring and support where needed
• Promote process and efficiency improvements

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified or near qualification ACCA, ACA, CIMA accountant
• High level of technical knowledge and experience of accounting standards and statutory audit
• Very strong communication skills with the desire to get involved in all functions
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to understand commercial operations

Benefits:

• Salary Range ££50,000 – £60,000
