Credit Controller

Astute Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic client based in Derby to find a permanent Credit Controller to join an already fantastic Credit Control team.

Duties include:

• Produce client and supplier aged debtor reports on a weekly basis
• Issue supplier and client statements
• Issues consolidated invoices and reports for assigned clients and suppliers, as an when required
• Proactively chase all outstanding invoices and claims assigned to your individual report
• Ensure individual client and supplier call logs are maintained
• Meet individual collection targets
• Notify your manager of any potential bad debt risks
• Further ad hoc duties as and when required

Personal skills and experience include:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• An acute attention to detail
• Experience dealing with large value and volumes
• Ability to work within a team but also individually
• Show ability to further their own development by taking part in courses
• Confident in using Excel including Pivot Tables and Look Ups

Benefits and Hours:

• 9:00am – 5:30pm with an hour lunch
• Option to work from home Monday’s and Fridays
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Additional day off for birthday
• Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience
• Potential of bonus every 6 months
