• Credit Controller

    Location: Derbyshire Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 Position: Permanent

    A well-established company based in Castle Donington are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their friendly team on a permanent full-time basis. The role will report into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for chasing outstanding debt as well as allocating payments.

    Your main duties will include:

    • Chasing outstanding invoices in a proactive manner via telephone, email and letter
    • Agreeing suitable payment terms according to customer’s credit ratings
    • Post payments and receipts to sales ledger
    • Account reconciliations
    • Deal with client/customer queries in a timely fashion
    • Working to daily targets
    • Using effective Excel skills to produce weekly reports
    • Issue client statements and letters

    The ideal applicant will have a strong background in credit control and sales ledger. An AAT qualification or relevant finance degree is desirable but not essential as well as strong IT skills.

    In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £20,000 – £22,000, 25 days holiday + Stats, onsite parking and a friendly and supportive office environment. Hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
