• Commercial Manager

    Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £55,000 Position: Permanent

    Our client, founded in the late 1800’s, is a leading marketing services and outsourcing business delivering Creative, Digital, Technical, Print and Fulfilment services to its contracted blue chip customer base across the UK.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Delivering financial and commercial business improvement in the Managed Services division to achieve portfolio growth and retention
    • Ensure the overall progression and development of commercial management and governance in the Managed Services function Overall Purpose
    • Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to achieve and accelerate growth at the beginning of a customer relationship
    • When on-boarding a new client ensuring that all appropriate commercial aspects are fully understood, agreed at Exec Board level and adhered to
    • Monitor performance of commercial activities ongoing using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
    • Reviewing and monitoring the performance of customer contracts and making recommendations on commerciality
    • Throughout the customer lifecycle ensuring that all commercial agreements are adhered to and operated to maximise customer profitability
    • Working closely with the Client Services team to influence behaviour and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to implement strategies to drive revenue and ultimately business growth
    • Being responsible for commercial modelling of new opportunities and potential revenue streams
    • Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of contracts with customers and helping to develop commercial and financial retention strategies ongoing
    • Interpreting market trends and adapting to industry changes
    • Making commercial recommendations to the Managed Services Team
    • Assist in coaching, training and developing the team to enhance their performance and ability to meet commercial objectives

     

    The Candidate

     

    • Proven experience as commercial manager or another relevant role
    • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
    • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic and creative mind-set
    • Excellent organizational and influencing skills
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Energetic with strong personal impact
