Accounts Payable Assistant

Astute Recruitment are working alongside a brilliant well-established business based in Derby to look for a permanent Accounts Payable Assistant to join an already brilliant finance team.

This role is perfect for someone who loves to work in a team environment and who has a genuine passion for finance.

Duties Include:

• Setting up suppliers on the system
• Inputting invoices onto the financial accounting system
• Maintain correct coding of invoices
• Ensure invoice queries are dealt with promptly, including sending queries to site Administrators as required
• Understanding the blanket PO process
• Investigate and resolve invoices not matched for payment on the finance system
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Review and investigate where appropriate GRNI for supplier accounts

Benefits & Hours:

• Salary up to £25,000 depending on experience
• 5% bonus paid every quarter
• Working hours of 8 until 4:30
• 2 days working from home
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
