• Accounting Manager

    Location: Leicestershire Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 Position: Permanent

    Due to continued business growth, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen with a business that is well respected and established across the globe. They are looking to add an Accounting Manager to further strengthen their UK finance team.

     

    They need someone who loves building relationships, whilst also being able to maintain firm financial control. This role will suit someone who knows management accounts inside out, someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, and is confident interacting with stakeholders at varied levels.

     

    Duties are varied but will include:

     

    • Produce Year on Year Plan/Forecast, P&L, and BS variance analytics
    • Lead on internal and external audits, produce ETB, and Statutory Accounts Disclosures
    • Create analytical tools and reports to assist with accounting reviews or presentation of results
    • Produce annual budgets for the finance function
    • Proactively seek ways of improving processes, assisting with development and review of appropriate technology/software
    • Work effectively with varied stakeholders, including Ledger, Operational, and Leadership teams
    • Involvement with ad-hoc projects working with Business Analysts where required

     

    To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

     

    • Qualified ACCA, ACMA, ACA, or CIMA
    • Previous experience in a similar role essential
    • Advanced Level competency in software packages, to include Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications
    • Ability to present detailed financial data or performance results comprehensively to Senior Management
    • Ability to produce advanced reports and detailed analysis
    • Confident communicator, able to challenge the status quo, and the ability to escalate issues
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Good planning and organisational skills
    • Exposure in an international operation is highly desirable
